OPPO A83 Renders Leak Along With Its Specs And Pricing

The OPPO A83 got certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) earlier this month, and the device has just surfaced in a new image, which lets us check out all of its sides. In addition to that, the phone’s specs have also popped up, and a part of the device’s user manual as well. Having said that, it’s worth noting that this will be the company’s entry-level smartphones, and it is expected to launch on December 30.

If you take a look at the provided image above, you will get to see the OPPO A83 in the flesh. The phone is made out of metal, and interestingly enough, it does not sport a fingerprint scanner at all. The OPPO A83 comes with a single camera on the back, while its power key sits on the right. The volume up and volume down buttons are located on the left-hand side of the OPPO A83, and the device’s back is curved on the sides. This phone will sport thinner bezels than other entry-level phones in the company’s portfolio, but they’re still noticeably thicker than on the OPPO R11s and OPPO R11s Plus, which is understandable. The OPPO A83 will sport a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, and it will ship with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, according to the source. The phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, and it will pack in a 3,090mAh non-removable battery. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the OPPO A83, while the company’s ColorOS skin will be installed on top of Google’s operating system, of course.

A 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of the OPPO A83, while an 8-megapixel snapper will be included on the phone’s front side. The OPPO A83 will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it seems like a microUSB port will be included here as well, not a Type-C charging port. The phone will measure 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7mm, while it will weigh 143 grams. According to the source, the OPPO A83 will cost 1,199 Yuan in China, and it should become available soon after it gets announced at the end of this month.
