Oppo launches selfie expert F5 in Nepal

Nov 16, 2017-Oppo launched their latest smartphone, the Oppo F5, on Tuesday to attract users to its ever growing fanbase in Nepal. The F5 was unveiled by CEO of Oppo Nepal, Bobby Zhao.
The phone is priced at Rs33,990. The new Oppo F5 is available for purchase across the country.
The F5 is the brand’s first FHD+ full screen display model in Nepal, featuring AI (artificial intelligence) beauty technology that is designed to beautify selfies.“Oppo customers have always been our top most priority and we try to offer the
best Oppo products for customers’ delight and satisfaction,” said Zhao.
Oppo F5 comes equipped with a 20MP front camera. The front shooter features a bright F2.0 aperture. The company claims that the front camera is able to produce images with less noise in low light conditions. The front-camera’s portrait mode also applies a bokeh effect to the background, creating a subtle background blur around the subject of the selfie, reads a press release. Oppo has equipped a 16MP camera on the rear with F1.8 aperture.
“We believe that with our all new selfie expert Oppo F5, customers will be able to create, capture and celebrate experiences out of each golden moment through our new and innovative AI beauty technology especially for selfies,” added Zhao. The F5 sports a 6.0-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and has 18:9 aspect ratio. F5 is also the first phone equipped with FHD+ full screen display
in its price segment, reads the statement.
The F5 comes with Facial Unlock, the face recognition technology that will recognise its user and unlock the phone. Oppo has also added fingerprint unlock function if the user prefers to use the fingerprint reader.
Powering the Oppo F5 is an octa-core CPU with 4GB of RAM to handle smartphone operations from speedy surfing to continuous chats and eager gaming with ease and has an internal storage of 32GB. The Oppo F5 comes with a triple slot tray that supports two nano SIM cards plus one microSD card.
This allows users to expand the phone’s storage by up to 256GB. Talking about the software, users will be greeted with Colour OS 3.2—a brand new design interface based on Android 7.1.
