OPPO embraces the diversity of Singapore through its OOH campaign

To celebrate the launch of the OPPO R15 series, OPPO worked with photographer Stefen Chow for its out-of-home marketing campaign. In line with the R15 series’ slogan “Capture the true beauty”, OPPO used Singaporeans to highlight Singapore’s diverse cultural heritage, to be the faces of the campaign.

According to the release, the campaign, titled “Bringing True Singaporean Beauty to Life” was inspired by the photo capabilities of OPPO’s recently launched R15 series of smartphones. It utilises the AI dual camera, which highlights prominent facial features as well as add layers to the photo with colors and less noise.

In a press statement, OPPO stated that by showcasing the true beauty of Singaporeans, it aims to create “brand ambassadors of true beauty”.

The OPPO team worked with Chow and paraded around different parts of the cities over the course of two days. The team photographed 58 Singaporeans in over 10 locations.

“OPPO signifies youthful energy and authentic happiness, and Chow captured this beautifully. The photos not only encapsulate the camera capabilities of our new flagship R15 series, but the ethos behind our brand of capturing authentic, true beauty,” Meng Xiao, marketing manager, OPPO Singapore said.

The captured images will be exhibited at Tangs Orchard Underpass for the month of July. The four participants featured in OPPO’s Out-Of-Home campaign received a brand new OPPO R15 phone for their participation.
