Oppo A3s launched in India with dual cameras and 4230mAh battery

Leading smartphone makers keep releasing their models in different segments to keep the customer interest on top. Oppo has done just that by launching a new budget segment phone, the Oppo A3s.

Measuring 156.2mmx75.6mmx8.2mm, the Oppo A3s a 6.2 inch display. It’s an HD display with the screen resolution reading 720x1280 pixels. The display has a notch and occupies 88.8% of the screen surface. Oppo calls it Super Screen Display. The thickness of the bezel has been kept at 2.05mm.

The CPU is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, that offers a clocking speed of 1.8GHz. The RAM is just 2GB. That would be a little surprising coming from a Chinese phone manufacturer. The internal storage is 16GB with the provision to enhance to 256GB via a microSD card. This is a dual SIM phone.

However, Oppo has not held back when it comes to the camera section. A dual camera setup in the rear that includes a 13MP and a 2MP sensor and an 8MP sensor to be used to take selfies on the front facing camera. The rear camera has the LED flash support while the AI Beauty Technology 2.0 will support the front camera. Oppo would like the Oppo A3s to be known as a camera phone and has packed it with features and functionalities to ensure that the imaging experience for the users is far superior.

A 4230 mAh battery means the phone will stay active much beyond the normal phones in this segment. The connectivity options are complete with 4G VoLTE capability also included.

Onto pricing and the Oppo A3s will be sold in India at Rs 10,990. Available in two distinct colours: Red and Dark Purple, one can buy the phone from most online sites like Amazon, Flipkart and Paytm and also from offline stores.
