OPPO Find X: What to expect from OPPO's next flagship smartphone

Chinese manufacturer OPPO is scheduled to take the wraps off the Find X, its first flagship-level smartphone since 2014, on June 19. Here’s everything we’ve heard about the handset to date, including all the latest OPPO Find X news, rumours and leaks, plus speculative release date, specs and pricing details.

OPPO Find X Design and Specs: What does it look like, and is it a beast?

OPPO, once a name synonymous with leaks, has somehow managed to keep the design of Find X a secret. The one glimpse we caught came in the render that surfaced on June 14 and there wasn’t much to take from it, other than that the unit has a curved screen with an LED indicator (for notifications) baked into the bottom.

The firm wasn’t, however, able to keep what’s going on under the hood under wraps, with a recent leak revealing that the device is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of expandable internal storage. It also noted that there’s a dual-camera of the rear, comprising of two 16MP sensors.

Some rumour-spinners believe that the Find X will also come with OPPO’s Super VOOC Flash Charge fast-charging tech, which it is capable of taking a 2500mAh battery from flat to full in no more than 15 minutes, as well as the 5X Dual Camera Zoom feature it showed off at Mobile World Congress (MWC) back in 2017.

OPPO Find X Price and Release Date: How much will it cost, and when’s it coming out?

OPPO sent out inivtations to an event it’s holding at the Louvre in Paris, France on June 19 – and it confirmed that the Find X will be the star of the show, bundling the Find X branding on the save-the-dates. But that’s all we know for certain – all the other details we’ve caught wind of are nothing more than rumours.

There’s no word on how much the handset will cost.
