The base version of the A83 gets a price cut of P2,000 a month after its release

MANILA, Philippines – The base version of Oppo's solid budget phone, the A83, is now P2,000 cheaper.

The A83 has 3 variants: the 4GB/64GB (P11,990), the 3GB/32GB (P9,990), and the 2 GB/16GB, now priced at P6,990, down from its original P8,990 price tag back in May 2018. (READ: Oppo A83 impressions: Well-dressed at under P10,000)

Aside from the differences in RAM and storage, specs are the same across the range: a 5.7-inch HD 18:9 display, Helio P23 2.5GHz octa-core processor, Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and dual-sim and 4G LTE capabilities.
