Xiaomi Mi 8, 8 SE Launched: Specifications, Features

Xiaomi launched the Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE this week but these devices have yet to come to India. The Mi 8 is the first Android flagship to come with the 3D face unlock feature and will rival the iPhone X’s Face ID feature. The Mi 8 SE, on the other hand, is the first phone to come with a Snapdragon 710, so it is going to be sold for a cheaper price for getting flagship features. Pricing for both phones is not confirmed because the phones have yet to officially land in the country.

Vivo X21, Y83 Launched: Price in India, Specifications

Vivo X21 was also launched alongside the Y83. Both smartphones come with a notch, but the X21 features an in-display fingerprint reader thanks to its OLED screen. The Vivo X21 comes at a price of Rs. 35,999 in India while the Vivo Y83 is much cheaper, being sold at Rs. 14,990. Vivo’s current flagship offering will be sold online exclusively via Flipkart. Additionally, you can purchase the X21 from the Vivo India online store as well as select offline smartphone retail stores across the country but it is only going to be available in the color Black. The Vivo Y83 is going to be listed on major e-commerce stores in India very soon.

Nokia 5.1, 3.1, 2.1 Launched: Specifications, Features

The Nokia 5.1, 3.1 and 2.1 have also been launched, and they are going to be launching in India in the future thanks to their affordability factor. As you might have guessed, the Nokia 5.1 is the best handset out of all the three, and after that Nokia 3.1, the comes the Nokia 2.1. Currently, there is no information regarding the launch of these new Nokia smartphones in India. However, since HMD Global has a very strong presence in the country, they might arrive much sooner than expected.

Samsung Galaxy J4 launched: Specs, features

The Samsung Galaxy J4 is a member of the Galaxy J series and it carries a price of Rs. 9,990. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and is powered by the Exynos 7570, which is running a quad-core processor at 1.43GHz. Samsung might have announced the device, but from where you can purchase the phone from is still being put under wraps. However, it is no secret that the device will be sold at major e-commerce stores, along with Samsung India’s retail outlets.

Mi Band 3, Mi TV 4 75-inch Launched: Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi Mi 8 also saw the launch of the Mi Band 3 and Mi TV 4, which has a massive 75-inch screen. The Mi Band 3 comes with an OLED display and boasts to have a 20-day battery life. The best thing about this wearable is that it is going to be extremely affordable when it officially launches in India. You can also receive app and call notifications while using the fitness tracker, which is a convenient feature to have.

Xiaomi announced two variants for the Mi Band 3, one with NFC and one without it. The standard variant of the Mi Band 3 is now available on Xiaomi’s website for a price of 169 Yuan (around Rs. 1,761.90), while the NFC-enabled Mi Band 3 will be available for 199 yuan (around Rs. 2,074.67).

The Mi TV 4 75-inch is an ultra-thin Smart TV geared with native support for AI voice assistant. With a 4K resolution and armed with a 64-bit quad-core ARM-A53 processor plus 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for downloading apps and storing user data, it has everything you quite require from a 75-inch smart TV. The new 75-inch model is priced at 8,999 Yuan in China, which converts to around Rs. 93,818.72, which is not cheap by any means, but it is cheaper than the competitor, that’s for sure.

Redmi Y2, MIUI India 10 Launch Date Announced

The Redmi Y2 is also known as the Redmi S2 in India and it has a launch date when the phone will finally get sold in the country. The smartphone will be sold on Amazon India as an exclusive on the 7th of June. MIUI 10 is Xiaomi’s latest smartphone interface that is designed to deliver performance improvements and a series of other optimizations. The interface is going to be available from the 1st of June as an Open Beta and will be available for a variety of smartphones.

Kimbho Launch and Removal

Patanjali Founder Baba Ramdev has launched a messaging app called Kimbho but it did not take long for the app to be removed from the Google Play Store. While the reasons for its removal were unknown, Elliot Alderson, a French security expert who is known for exposing security loopholes has mentioned that the Kimbho app is a security disaster, and his tweet given below summarizes that the app was a complete disaster from a security perspective.

Honor 7A, 7C Sale in India: Specifications, Features

The Honor 7A and Honor 7C have officially gone on sale in India. The price of the Honor 7A starts from Rs. 8,999 while the Honor 7C starts from Rs. 9,999. The Honor 7A was earlier sold out in just 120 seconds, and the next sale in India is going to start on the 5th of June and will take place at Flipkart. The next sale of the Honor 7C is scheduled on 7th of June on Amazon.

Lenovo Z5 Teased

Lenovo Z5 is another bezel-less marvel that has been teased to getting announced on June 5. Chang Cheng, Lenovo’s VP has been teasing the device for quite some time now, building up the hype as move into the official launch of the smartphone. Leaked renders of the smartphone show that the device is going to have a small chin, with the front camera embedded in it.

Vivo APEX, NEX Teased

Vivo APEX has been teased to launch the 12th of June, becoming only the second smartphone in the world to come without a notch and a chin bezel. Other leaks have reported that the APEX might be rebranded as the NEX, getting flagship specifications such as a Snapdragon 845.

OPPO Find X Teased

The OPPO Find X will be the company’s next flagship smartphone and to remind you, it has been four years since OPPO released a Find series smartphone. This also means that the rumors regarding OPPO Find 9 and Find 11 didn’t turn out to be true. OPPO has also teased the launch of the OPPO Find X from its official Twitter handle for the Indian market, meaning that it is going to be available in the country real soon.

iPhone 2018 Images Leaked

This new offer is given a price of Rs. 148 and this prepaid plan provides 2GB of 3G Internet data along with unlimited calls, along with unlimited roaming and 100 free SMS per day. The validity of this prepaid plan has a time span of 28 days so run loose with unlimited data.

Airtel Voice only Pack

The Voice-only pack from Airtel allows unlimited voice-only calls across the country and it costs just Rs. 299. If you rely on calls over the internet through the smartphone’s data, this could be the salvation you were hoping to witness. The added advantage here is that there will be no charges incurred for roaming calls nationwide. It also benefits the customer with no FUP (fair usage policy) limit and gives 100 free SMS per day. The validity of this plan has a time limit of 45 days.

Jio Fiber 100Mbps

According to sources, Jio Fiber is close to seeing an official launch, with the 100Mbps package expected to offer up to 1.1TB of data. Sources have also said that the initial plan from Jio Fiber would be to offer users 100GB of free data per month at a speed of 100Mbps. Once this 100GB of data has been used up, customers can then avail 40GB of free data in the form of top-ups, with the top-ups being allowed 25 times in a month, resulting in approximately 1.1TB of data.

BSNL Patanjali tie up

There were reports coming in that Pantajali would be partnering with BNSL to launch a Swadeshi SIM card. However, according to the latest update, this news appears to be fake. According to a statement released by Patanjali, the company has collaborated with BSNL for the benefits of its own workers across the country, and the SIM cards being given to the public is more than likely not going to be a part of the agreement.
