Oppo: Giants name debutant

19-year-old key defender Sam Taylor is set to make his AFL debut for Greater Western Sydney against Adelaide this Sunday. 

The 196cm West Australian is one of five additions to the Giants’ extended 26-man squad for the Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash at Adelaide Oval.

Co-captain Phil Davis, Sam Reid, Dawson Simpson and Brent Daniels have also been added to Leon Cameron’s squad, while Tim Mohr is the only confirmed out at this stage.

Final teams for the Crows and Giants will be announced on Friday afternoon.
