Oppo A71 (2018) with AI technology, Qualcomm processor launched

NEW DELHI: Recently, Oppo slashed the price of its budget smartphone A71 in India. Now, the company has launched the Oppo A71 (2018) version in Pakistan. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet revealed the price and availability of the smartphone.

The Oppo A71 (2018) comes equipped with an AI Beauty Recognition Technology and it is claimed to be one of the high points of the device. The smartphone is capable of capturing selfies with bokeh effects. The front camera will use the built-in smart arithmetic optimisation which will differentiate between the subject and the background. On the other hand, the rear camera comes with Multi-Frame Denoising Technology and Ultra HD Technology using this, the users can capture images in up to 32MP resolution.


In terms of specifications, the Oppo A71 (2018) comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system topped with the ColorOS 3.2 UI layer of the company.
The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. There's also a 5MP front shooter for selfies with f/2.4 aperture.
Measuring 148.1x73.8x7.6mm, the smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery which claims to offer 19 hours of battery backup on a single charge. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Last week, Oppo slashed the price of its Oppo A71 in India. Launched at Rs 12,990, the device has got a price cut of Rs 3,000 and is now selling at Rs 9,990.
