OPPO R13 specs leaked, features 4GB RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo

Last month, a few alleged live images of the upcoming OPPO R13 smartphone had hit the interwebs. The leaked images suggested that the phone will come with a design similar to that of the Apple iPhone X. Now, an alleged “About Phone” section of the R13 has also been leaked online, which has revealed a few details about the features of the OPPO R13.
According to the screenshot, the OPPO R13 will boot ColourOS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The phone will arrive with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, out of which, a total of 45GB will be available to the end user. The processor isn’t listed in the screenshot, but it’s said to be an octa-core SoC, possibly a MediaTek one. Unfortunately, no other details of the phone were revealed by the screenshot.
As per the earlier leaked images, the OPPO R13 will bear a close resemblance to the iPhone X. The phone will offer a nearly bezel-free display with a notch at the top, just like the Apple flagship. The device will come with a vertically stacked dual camera setup at the top-rear corner and a glass back panel, which again reminds us of the iPhone X. The device will be available in three colour options – black, white and blue.
The OPPO R13 will come as the successor to the R11s and R11s Plus, which were unveiled in China last month. They arrived as the brand’s first R series smartphones with an all-screen display bearing an aspect ratio of 18:9, minimal bezels on the sides and slim bezels on the top and bottom. The phones also sport a premium metal unibody design with rear-mounted fingerprint sensors and dual primary shooters. There’s no word on when the brand is planning to launch them in the Indian market at the moment.
