Target &#039;Black Friday&#039; 2017 Deals: How Good Are They?

Target has been teasing Black Friday 2017 deals for a while now and there are some great sales in there. But now we have the complete list with savings on Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy smartphones, Xbox and PS4 consoles, premium HDTVs, Amazon’s Kindle and Echo, Google Home and more. But how good are these big brand discounts? Let’s take a look...

Target Black Friday 2017

Target’s Black Friday sale begins in-stores on Thanksgiving at 6pm. Target will remain open for six hours of sales until midnight then stores will close before opening again at 6am on Black Friday for more sales. Target’s online Black Friday sale will begin on Target.com on Thanksgiving, but if you are a Target REDCard holder you will have early access beginning November 22nd.

Target Black Friday 2017 Deals

Westinghouse 55-inch 4K Smart UHD TV - $249.99 (in-store only) - product link

This is the cheapest price for a 55-inch 4K TV this year and one of the cheapest that I have seen. Unfortunately for online shoppers, this deal is in-store only and it isn’t a premium brand. But this is still a lot of HDTV for your money.

Polaroid 32-inch LED TV for $89.99 (save $40) - product link

This will not be the cheapest 32-inch TV this year (Amazon has one for $69.99), but $89.99 is still a solid price for a set of this size.

Decent earbuds and a sizeable 50% off. This is a front-page doorbuster and quantities are likely to be limited so you may have to move fast.

Amazon.com will have the same price for this very popular tablet, but the deal is good enough that it is worth picking up at Target if you will already be shopping there.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet for $49.99 (save $30) - product link

Amazon.com will be running the same deal but, for the same reasons as above, this is worth getting at Target if you plan on shopping here a lot during Black Friday 2017.

The lowest price ever for the popular Echo Dot, grab it while you can.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch 16GB + Free $20 Target Gift Card for $179.99 (save $100) - product link

The direct discount of $100 and the $20 gift card gives this deal a net price of only $159.99.

Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch for $529.99 (save $120) - product link

Among iPad Pro 10.5-inch deals, this is one of the better ones. Best Buy, however, is offering up to $150 off on this size so that’s the better deal.

Xbox One S 500GB Console + $25 Gift Card - $189.99 (save $90) - product link

Most stores are simply offering the Xbox One S 500GB console for $189.99, but Target is including a free $25 gift card. This makes the net price only $164.99 and it’s a standout deal.

Google Home Mini + $10 Target Gift Card for $29 (save $20) - product link

Many other stores are offering the Google Home Mini for $29, but Target's included gift card gives the deal a net price of only $19. It’s a no brainer.

GoPro HERO5 Black for $349.99 + $50 Target Gift Card (save $50) - product link

This is a similar price to what other stores are offering, the free $50 gift card gives this deal a net price of $299.99.

Free $250 Gift Card With Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus With Activation - product link

Not a bad deal, but Walmart is offering a $300 gift card on the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with activation.

Free $300 Gift Card with Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus With Activation - product link

Solid deal, but Best Buy is offering direct savings of $300 on these phones. With Target's deal, you will get a $300 gift card which isn’t as flexible but not a deal breaker if you are a regular Target shopper.
