Best Buy 'Black Friday' 2017 Ad: Early Apple, Samsung, HDTV Deals
My Black Friday 2017 Best Buy and Walmart guide predicted we would see ads for the former today and the latter tomorrow. Well surprise surprise because
But Best Buy is far from alone in pushing great holiday sales offers and I have already published Black Friday guides for many of the biggest major retailers which you can find here: Apple, Amazon, Kohl’s, Macy's, Microsoft, Samsung, Target and Walmart). So do Best Buy’s Black Friday 2017 deals measure up? Certainly the signs are promising...
Note: my thanks to BestBlackFriday.com which has worked with me to collate these deals and create order from the inevitable annual chaos
The big news is a number of Best Buy’s Black Friday 2017 deals are live right now (see live deals), so be sure to check them out. Furthermore I’ve identified several of Best Buy’s Black Friday star deals (including live deals) all of which will also be available to purchase when the official sale begins on November 23th:
- Sharp 50-inch LED 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD Roku TV for $179.99 (save $320) - product link
This is not only the best TV deal so far, but it is also the top deal overall for Black Friday 2017. On Black Friday last year, Best Buy offered a 49-inch Toshiba 4k HD TV for only $199.99. This year's deal is an inch larger and $20 less expensive. This deal will not be available online.
- Save $300 on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus with qualified activation - product link
Target is offering the same deal but with a $300 gift card. Best Buy's direct savings of $300 is a better deal and offers more flexibility for those who may not want the limitations a gift card brings.
- *LIVE NOW* Sony Alpha a6000 Camera and Free Accessories for $699.99 (save $350) - product link
This is a solid camera, and the free accessories make the $350 savings that much better.
- * LIVE NOW* Sharp 32-inch Class LED 720p Smart HD Roku TV for $149.99 (save $50) -product link
While there will be cheaper 32-inch TVs, but this one combines a solid brand and a (still) low price.
- *LIVE NOW* Sony 70-inch Class LED 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV for $1,199.99 (save $600) -product link
Those looking to splurge on a huge TV this year will find this deal appealing. While costs have gone down tremendously for 4k TVs 55-inches and under, it is still going to cost over well over $1,000 for a 70-inch 4k TV. This is a premium brand and it is an excellent price.
- *LIVE NOW* Sharp 60-inch LED 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV for $549.99 (save $250) - product link
Another quality 4K TV from a trusted brand in Sharp. While I expect the cheapest 60-inch 4K TV to be available for under $450, this one is worth paying the extra.
- *LIVE NOW* Save up to $150 on the iPad Pro 10.5-Inch - product link
Save a minimum of $125 on various iPad Pro 10.5-inch models, with larger storage versions seeing savings of up to $150.
Best Buy Black Friday 2017 Tips
Best Buy has made it’s first big official Black Friday 2017 sales announcement, but this will not be its last. The ad states there will be more Doorbusters revealed on Friday and Saturday and I will also be analysing those deals.
Best Buy also revealed it will open its doors at 5pm on Thanksgiving and run sales until 1am. It will then reopen at 8am Black Friday for more sales that will last until 10pm. Unlike with some rivals, you’ll be able to shop almost all its Black Friday deals on BestBuy.com for the duration of Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
But there are exceptions. The 50-inch Sharp 4K HD Roku TV deal is in-stores only and may very well end up being the best deal of the season. This combo will be highly sought and Best Buy will only have a handful of these in stock at each location. The good news is Best Buy usually hands out tickets for the first people in line to get these big ticket items. So if you show up early enough you will get this item, but you might have to camp out starting the night before or earlier.
As for shopping online, remember Best Buy has free shipping on all orders with no minimum, including on Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. This is an important consideration when taking into account some smaller stores may have a cheaper price listed, but add on substantial shipping fees.
My daily holiday sales coverage will span across the whole month of November and cover both Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2017. So bookmark my page (or click the ‘Follow’ button on that page to receive email notifications of new articles) as more deals will be analysed every day. Below are links to some of my existing coverage.
