samsung has unveiled a new addition to its portfolio of innovative wearables with their latest sports gear and IconX 2018. in an effort to promote healthy living, the gear sport help users go beyond fitness to get the most out of their everyday activities. adding to this are a suite of premium partnerships with spotify, under armour and speedo that enable practical fitness experiences, as well as an enhanced user interface that is easily navigated via the device’s minimalistic circular bezel.

samsung‘s gear sport has a water-resistant rating of 5ATM or 50 meters, so even in the deep end, the user’s activity is recorded. it also has speedo on—speedo’s new swim tracking app — monitoring every stroke type, lap time and calories burned. one can also choose from over 60 available workouts, and the gear sport device will guide athletes through the motions as it measures their heart rate. additionally, when users are on an airplane, gear sport adjusts accordingly, suggesting stretches that you can do from your seat.
