Four OPPO R11s Variants Get Certified, Schematics Leak
OPPO had already announced a press conference for October 26, when the company plans to introduce the OPPO F5, but it seems like the OPPO R11s is also due to be announced soon, and three of its variants just got certified in China. The OPPO R11s is rumored to arrive at the beginning of next month, and four of its variants received the 3C certification in China, the OPPO R11s, OPPO R11st, OPPO R11s Plus and OPPO R11s Plust.
Unfortunately, 3C did not reveal any specs, or even the design of these three handsets, but thanks to this listing, we do know that all of these models will sport 5V/4A VOOC fast charging technology, which is OPPO’s proprietary fast charging. Now, in addition to the 3C certification, schematics of the OPPO R11s and R11s Plus have surfaced. These schematics are basically saying that the OPPO R11s and R11s Plus will have barely any bezel on the sides, and their top and bottom bezels will not be that thick either. Both phones will ship with a display which will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio, and if rumors are to be believed, we’re looking at QHD+ (2880 x 1440) displays here, though it’s more likely we’ll get fullHD (2160 x 1080) panels. These schematics also say that the two devices will sport a dual camera setup on the back, and that the fingerprint scanner will also be located on the back.
Now, not many details regarding the OPPO R11s and OPPO R11s Plus specs surfaced thus far, but chances are that both phones will be fueled by the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor. The two devices will probably pack in 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and chances are they will have quite compelling front-facing cameras as well. Both phones will be made out of metal, and if some previous rumors are to be believed, the OPPO R11 will cost 2,999 Yuan ($455), while the OPPO R11s Plus will be priced at 3,499 Yuan ($531). It is rumored that both of these phones will arrive in early November, and a specific date had also been mentioned, they could arrive on November 2, though we’re still waiting for an official confirmation from OPPO.
