Oppo launches 'Oppo A71' with 13MP rear camera and Android Nougat 7.1
Chinese smartphone maker Oppo’s next release is going to be the Oppo A71 and it will come with a 5.2-inch HD TFT display with a screen resolution of 720x1280pixels. The phone’s dimensions read 148.1mmx73.8mmx7.6mm and its weight a meager 137 grams.
The CPU to be fitted on the phone will be the MediaTek MT6750 SoC, which is an octa-core processor that clocks a speed of 1.5GHz.
The Oppo A71 will come with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory and the provision for increasing the storage to 256GB via microSD card will, obviously, be a part of the phone’s construction.
The Oppo A71 will sport a 3000mAh battery. It’s a non-removable battery, with the SIM card slot on the side of the phone, along with the volume rocker buttons and the power on/off button.
The highlight of this phone will be the latest Colors OS 3.1 as the skin to the stock Android Nougat version 7.1.
With regard to the optics section, a 13MP camera will be the main sensor in the rear and a 5MP sensor will adorn the front of the phone to click selfies. The lenses have apertures of f/2.2 in the rear sensor and f/2.4 in the front camera. The rear camera has the support of a LED flash as well.
The Oppo A71 will come with almost all the connectivity options, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and, obviously, 4G LTE. Similarly, the list of sensors on board includes the proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and the digital compass.
Black and Gold are the two color variants proposed for the new phone from Oppo. As per current indications, the phone will be shipped this October and the indicative price is equivalent of Rs 12, 990. Observers have noted that the phone is already being offered to buyers in countries like Pakistan and Malaysia through the company’s own website.
Oppo has a strong presence in India and surely, the Oppo A71 must be on its way to the Indian market within a short period.
