OPPO is known for its history of launching limited editions smartphones is a common knowledge. The OPPO F3 (review) which was launched in India recently has been released in a few editions already. There was a Black Edition to mark the partnership between the brand and BCCI, followed by Deepika Padukone Edition in rose gold. Now, ahead of the Diwali, the handset maker has launched yet another variant of the smartphone on the lines of OPPO F1s Diwali Edition (in pictures) from last year.
This year’s Diwali Edition OPPO F3 is missing the Diwali Lamp logo and celebrity signatures on the back but comes in a bright red hue with gold trimmings. Apart from these changes, the device is the same as the regular variant of the OPPO F3. For the uninitiated, the Selfie Expert OPPO F3 comes with a dual camera module up front with 16MP + 8MP configuration and wide angle lens. The rear panel of the device is home to a 13-megapixel snapper with single LED flash. On the front, it gets 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. For performance and multitasking, it gets a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor mated to 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphone runs the now-dated Android Marshmallow OS with ColorOS on top. The Limited Red Edition also gets an interface overhaul with all red icons and a Diwali themed wallpaper. For power requirements, the OPPO F3 relies on a 3,000mAh battery.
The OPPO F3 Limited Red Edition goes on sale starting September 29th exclusively on Amazon India online for Rs 18,990. It will also be available in offline stores in limited quantities. OPPO is also bundling a free cricket bat with the device.
