Collingwood midfielder Taylor Adams has been charged for engaging in rough conduct against Crows defender Rory Laird in Sunday’s draw at the MCG.

The AFL Match Review Panel deemed Adams made high contact with Laird during the third term of Sunday’s match and assessed the incident as careless and of low impact.

Adams received an initial $1,500 sanction but can accept a $1,000 fine with an early guilty plea.

Laird was able to play out the match for Adelaide.

Taylor Adams, Collingwood, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Rory Laird, Adelaide Crows, during the third quarter of the Round 19 match between Collingwood and the Adelaide Crows, played at the MCG on Sunday July 30, 2017.
